Who Are We?

SmartyPal is based in Center City, firmly embedded in the rapidly emerging Philadelphia tech scene.  We build games and digital learning technology that transforms static, boring content (books, videos, etc.) into fun, immersive, and personalized digital learning experiences.  We also offer on-site learning programs that take advantage of technology to improve the availability and efficacy of learning experiences.

Our team consists of seasoned entrepreneurs and technologists with experience in venture capital investment, finance, and academic research (from places like Microsoft, Comcast, Jetsetter, Qualcomm, JPMorgan, Wharton, and Vanderbilt Univ.). We’re funded by a prestigious grant from the National Science Foundation and won the MongoDB Innovation Award alongside Facebook, Expedia, and LinkedIn.
