SmartyPal Awarded $150,000 Research Grant from National Science Foundation

SmartyPal was awarded a prestigious research grant from the National Science Foundation through their Small Business Innovation Research program (SBIR). These funds will help SmartyPal develop and apply the company’s adaptive personalization techniques in early education.

This competitive award is intended to fund groundbreaking research in commercial start-ups. NSF’s SBIR program is focused specifically on funding companies applying “hard science and engineering technology with high technical risk and potential for significant commercial or societal impact.”

SmartyPal’s is honored to receive such an important award. NSF clearly recognizes the need to invest in technology and education and we are excited to be at the cutting edge of these fields.
